The government does not plan to ban driven grouse shooting, stating that it can benefit the rural economy and be good for wildlife and habitat conservation.
A statement made in response to Wild Justice’s latest petition to ban driven grouse shooting says the government believes that well-managed shooting activities can be beneficial and that a sustainable, mutually beneficial relationship is possible between shooting and conservation.
